| Airlines get a bit of "energie"! |
| 1/12/2009 |
|
After the release of their successful debut CD, "energie", C&A are "flying high" to learn that their music will be featured on Continental and United Airlines flights playlists coming to and from Canada from January to April 2010. "Probably has something to do with the Olympics being in Canada. It's still pretty cool to see Acadian music being given priority clearance", says Chuck. "Our publicist, Rock Paper Scissors did a great job getting the word out on both sides of the border."
Media highlights include a feature in AOL's Spinner Magazine, Podcast interview by KadmusArts and CD reviews by Boston’s Post-Gazette, World Music Central, The Midwest Record and Heros of Indy Music to name a few. Pre-launch and CD launch activities in Saskatchewan and PEI also were articled and keep you eyes peeled for upcoming articles and CD reviews in the April issue of Vintage Guitar magazine and in the march issue of the Montreal magazine La Scena Musicale . All reviews and other press related materials are chronicled either in the Press Section of Chuck & Albert's website or on their online Press Kit located at www.rockpaperscissors.biz
A big thank you to filmmaker Laurence Veron who dropped by the studio during the Summer and filmed the process in the studio. Just before the CD release she presented us with a beautiful gift of a really fun video featuring our Producer, Grey Larsen , having a few laughs and working away at Paul Milnar's Shell Lane Studios , in Malpeque, PEI. p.s. - Interested in purchasing a CD? Please visit our good friends at Distribution Plages, they'll take good care of you! |
